In August 2025, devastating floods swept across Punjab, leaving villages submerged, families displaced, and lives upturned. Amid this chaos, the most vulnerable are suffering silently—thousands of animals trapped in rising waters, struggling to survive.
Over 600,000 animals, including livestock, pets, and stray dogs and cats, have been affected by these floods. Cows are stranded in sheds, goats cling desperately to floating debris, and stray dogs are trapped on rooftops—hunger, fear, and exhaustion threaten their very lives.
